Washington State DOT operates the second largest ferry system in the world, moving more than 25 million passengers a year. Millar says WSDOT is planning to convert the Mark Two boats to hybrid-electric power which he says will benefit the state in many ways. Find out more about WSDOT’s plans for its massive ferry system, in this Two Minute State DOT Update.
