 Bridge and Tunnel Inspection Schedule
for the Week of November 11

 (Washington, D.C.) - The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) will temporarily close single lanes on the following roadways for bridge and tunnel inspections:

  • K Street under 22nd Street NW, 24th Street and Washington Circle alternating right and left lane closures of eastbound K Street NW followed by alternating right and left lane closures of westbound K Street NW on Monday, November 11, from 10 am to 3 pm, weather permitting
  • Eastbound Suitland Parkway under Northbound South Capitol Street alternating right and left lane closures on Tuesday, November 12, from 10 am to 12:30 pm, weather permitting
  • Northbound South Capitol Street over Suitland Parkway alternating right and left lane closures on Tuesday, November 12, from 11:30 am to 3 pm, weather permitting
  • East Capitol Street under Anacostia Freeway (Kenilworth Avenue) and CSX Railroad right Eastbound lane closure followed by right Westbound lane closure on Wednesday, November 13, from 10 am to 3 pm, weather permitting

 

Traffic controls will be in place to warn drivers approaching the areas. Motorists should anticipate moderate-to-heavy delays due to the lane closures.  Drivers are advised to stay alert while traveling through these locations and to be observant of the inspection personnel.
