Route 2075 New Texas Road Overnight Closure Tonight in Plum


Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing an overnight closure on Route 2075 (New Texas Road) in Plum Borough, Allegheny County, will occur tonight, Tuesday night, September 10 weather permitting.

New Texas Road will close to through traffic from 8 p.m. Tuesday night through 5 a.m. Wednesday morning between Leechburg Road (Route 2076) and Saltsburg Road (Route 380).  Crews from Allison Park Contractors will repair a failed cross pipe and conduct gabion basket wall repairs. Traffic will be detoured via Old Leechburg Road, Unity Trestle Road, and Route 380.

Local traffic will be accommodated.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 950 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
