Allegheny County Road Closures, Restrictions Due to Flooding – 8 A.M. Update


Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT is advising motorists that the following state routes in Allegheny County are closed or restricted at this time due to flooding:

Allegheny County

  • Single-lane alternating traffic on the Route 1003 (Kittanning Pike) bridge near Kirkwood Drive in O’Hara Township;

  • Route 1016 (Log Cabin Road) between Little Deer Creek Road and Butler Logan Road in Indiana and Frazer Townships is closed to traffic;

  • Single-lane alternating traffic on Route 4002 (Geyer Road) between Mt. Troy Road and Babcock Boulevard in Reserve and Shaler townships;

  • Route 4032 (Fern Hollow Road) in Sewickley Hills Borough closed to traffic;

  • Single-lane alternating traffic on Route 130 (Sandy Creek Road) the Municipality of Penn Hills; and

  • Route 3094 (Bocktown Road) between Route 51 and Beaver County in Crescent Township is closed to traffic.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 950 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
