Association Publishes Final Update of 2017 to Materials Standards Book

capitol0816.jpgAASHTO has released an August update, the third of three scheduled for this year, to its widely used "Materials Standards" publication.

The first 2017 update to the web-based edition of "Standard Specifications for Transportation Materials and Methods of Sampling and Testing, and the AASHTO Provisional Standards" was in April, and the second was released in June.

The description on an AASHTO Bookstore page said the August release revises the geotechnical, and bituminous materials and mixtures sections. It includes eight new and 23 revised standards.

Users with current one-year subscriptions to the publication through the Bookstore are automatically updated with the new information. New customers can buy 12-month, online subscriptions through the publication site at both AASHTO member and non-member prices.

The format offers users instant web-based access, with nothing to download or install.

It includes search capability, a fully integrated index, the ability to generate notes to a shared location, and the ability to link in and link out to supplemental information and materials.
