The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, an equal opportunity employer, is currently seeking to hire a finance specialist to support internal office administration at its Washington, D.C., headquarters.
AASHTO said the finance specialist would perform a wide range of duties, from assisting its accounting team with running monthly financial reports and processing employee time/attendance to records maintaining relationships with vendors and acting as the staff liaison for the company's teleconferencing/web conferencing, archive storage, and office supply services
The group added that candidates for this position must also be able to establish priorities for the completion of time-sensitive, and at times confidential, assignments.
AASHTO said successful candidates for its finance specialist position should have three-to-five years of administrative experience, preferably in an accounting environment and be proficient in PC applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications for specific assignments. College-level coursework is desired and/or related degree is preferable, but not required.

The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials is welcoming Glenn Page aboard as the organization's associate program director for project delivery, reporting to Jim McDonnell, AASHTO's program director for engineering.
AASHTO has released a project proposal for the development of AASHTOWare Project Data Analytics, under the AASHTOWare technical service program, that will enable data-driven decision support and historical data analysis on both web-based and Software-as-a-Service or "SaaS" platforms.
