The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, an equal opportunity employer, is currently seeking to hire a customer relationship manager for its AASHTOWare cooperative computer software development program; a position located in the association's Washington D.C. office.
Candidates for this position will be expected to work with AASHTOWare project managers, external software development contractors, marketing staff and the business operations manager to focus on activities that build strong relationships and high levels of satisfaction with customers.
"This new position will allow us to put a greater focus on individual member implementation hurdles and provide a bridge to the contractor support team so issues can be resolved faster," noted Jan Edwards, AASHTOWare's project director.
Candidates for this position are expected to have Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing or a related field with a minimum of five to seven years' experience in customer relationship management or sales, experience developing and managing budgets, proficiency in MS Office, and will be expected to travel out-of-town 60 to 90 days a year.
