New AASHTOWare Website Launched

AASHTO is rolling out a new website for its AASHTOWare enterprise software suite – www.aashtoware.org – as part of an effort to improve the online experience for customers when they are researching and ordering software options.aashtoware.jpg

AASHTOWare is a system designed to help transportation professionals comply with Federal Highway Administration regulations and more efficiently monitor project costs, among other capabilities.

To help members more fully tap into AASHTOWare's benefits, the new website features several new elements:

  • It's now a responsive design; so no matter what device with which a user views the website, it automatically formats based on screen size without compromising functionality or the aesthetic feel of the page.
  • It's more intuitive/easier to navigate than the previous site, so state DOTs and other groups interested in purchasing or learning more about AASHTOWare can do so faster and easier.
  • It offers a "cleaner" look, with fewer tabs yet shorter pathways to get to the right information. "Our goal is to get users where they need to go faster and with greater ease," explained Jan Edwards, AASTOWare's project director.
