The association is taking applications through Feb. 5 for an associate project director to manage the day-to-day operation of the largest product suite within AASHTO's cooperative computer software development program called AASHTOWare Project.
Here is the full job description for the position, which will be located in the association's Washington, D.C., offices.
The person filling the job will, under the general direction of the project director, participate in long-range planning and be responsible for the coordination and submission of recommended budgets for the AASHTOWare line of transportation project-related software products.
AASHTO through that technical service program brings together experts from various state departments of transportation to produce and update customized software products.
Among other things, the associate project director will also oversee activities of assigned program staff, monitor program performance, manage marketing efforts, participate in contract negotiations and administer contracts.
