JEFFERSON CITY -- Drivers should use caution as Missouri may see its first snowfall of the season Thursday. The National Weather Service forecast calls for winter precipitation for the central, Kansas City area and northern parts of the state.
“There is always the potential for more accidents during the first winter weather event of the season, because drivers haven’t experienced those conditions for several months,” said MoDOT State Maintenance Engineer Becky Allmeroth. “Please slow down, and
allow extra time for travel.”
